Yogyakarta, on Saturday May 12, 2018 a seminar on dissertation research result from Rendi Prayuda entitled “The Problematics of ASEAN toward handled of Transnational Crime about Narchotics Smuggling in Southeast Asia Region “was conducted. The Seminar was located at the Tutorial Room, 1st Floor of Graduate Building, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
Rendi explained that some factors that caused the failed of international regimes security of ASEAN toward handled of Transnational Crime about Narchotics Smuggling in Southeast Asia Region are negotiating factors in international scopes likes difference of narchotics threat perception between ASEAN members, diffrence of priority interest about the leader of ASEAN members, weakness of values and principal of ASEAN, ASEAN there is no have a guiding state to controll of ASEAN consensus and sense of belonging from ASEAN society toward ASEAN. In order that negotiates factors in national scope from ratifications untill law enforcement, acclerations of narchotics smuggling methods, types of drug in major region and conditions of geography ASEAN.
The Examiners of the seminar are Prof. Dr. Tulus Warsito, M.Si, Dr. Surwandono, M.Si., Dr. Mega Hidayati, M.A, Ali Muhammad, S.IP., M.A., Ph.D., and Dr. Hasse J, M.A (Chairman). This seminar was opened for students who want to attend it. At the end of the session, the Examiners provided questions, suggestions and criticisms on the technical material, methodology and substance of the dissertation and Rendi Prayuda has to revise her dissertation based on these suggestions.
