Strengthening Islamic Studies, Islamic Politics of UMY Explores Postgraduate Cooperation of IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua

The efforts of the UMY Islam-Political Political Doctoral Program in strengthening Islamic studies for the benefit of the people, nation, and state continue to be carried out. On September 28, 2019, Head of the Study Program, Dr. Zuly Qodir, M.Ag, was invited to be a guest speaker at the Public Lecture at the IAIN Fattahul Muluk Postgraduate in Jayapura, Papua.
Besides being a guest speaker, Dr. Zuly Qodir also explored cooperation with the Postgraduate IAIN Fattahul Muluk in the academic field, collaborative research, publications, and teaching. This is an effort to strengthen Islamic studies in eastern Indonesia.
Previously communication has been well developed and intensively established. IAIN Fattahul Muluk has sent five lecturers to study and study in the Political Doctoral Program in Islam-Political Science. So far, two lecturers have finished and become alumni, two lecturers concluded final examinations, and one lecturer is still in the process of completing a dissertation.
Dr. Zuly Qodir hopes that in the future there will be cooperation in the field of Higher Education Tridharma that responds to current issues in Papua as a form of institutional responsibility of the Islamic Political-Political Study Program to always disseminate the spirit of Islam rahmatan lil alamin as well as the vision of Muhammadiyah.
