Doctoral Program of Political Islam-Political Science held an Evaluation of Student Academic Development, Thursday (9/1) in the Islamic Political Conference Room of the UMY Postgraduate Building. This activity is an effort to monitor the development of academic stages that have been passed by students, such as lecturing on theory, preparation of dissertations, and published texts.
Head of the Study Program, Dr. Zuly Qodir, M.Ag, said that students must study and try hard to complete their studies.
“Students who have finished theory may immediately compile a literature review and research proposal. Meanwhile, for those who are preparing dissertations so that intensive and regular guidance to the promoters is to hold a seminar on the results of the dissertation immediately, “said Zuly Qodir in front of students.
The dissertation research publication must be considered for students, bearing in mind that the dissertation research output is published in reputable international journals and national accreditations and presented in international and national forums.
“Students who prepare dissertations must publish their articles in internationally accredited and nationally accredited journals. In addition, it was also presented at international and national scientific forums. This is an absolute requirement that students fulfill before an open examination and is a graduation requirement, “added Zuly Qodir.
Dr. Zuly Qodir hopes students will carry out the academic stages well and correctly so they can graduate on time.
