Yogyakarta, on Saturday September 22, 2018 the open defense for Mochamad Parmudi, a student of Political Islam – Political Science titled “ The Dynamics of Islamic Politics in Indonesia Reform Era (Study of the Development of the Prosperous Justice Party in Kebumen Regency 1999 – 2014)” was conducted. The open defense was in Amphiteater Room, 4th Floor of Graduate Building, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
Mochamad Parmudi explained that the birth of Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) could be accepted and exist in the community in Kebumen Regency because PKS approaches the community through collective actions such as; social services, relief from natural disasters, distributing financial loan funds, building school, and places of worship.
Parmudi added the development strategy of Prosperous Justice Party in Kebumen was carried out by mobilizing human resources through framing social and religious movements in the form of collective action to become an open party (inclusive). The expression is done with a “unique” tagline, for example: “Let Cool With PKS,” “PKS: All Party Us.” This can expand the social base of PKS in Kebumen.
The Assessors/Examiners are Sri Atmaja P. Rosyidi, ST., M.Sc.Eng., Ph.D., P.Eng (Chairman), Dr.Hasse J., M.A (Secretary), Prof. Dr. Tulus Warsito, M.Si (Promoter / Examiner I), Dr. Sidik Jatmika, M.Si. (Co-promoter / Examiner II), Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, M.Sc (Examiner III), Dr. Ulung Pribadi, M.Si. (Examiner IV), Prof. Dr. Sjafri Sairin, M.A., (Examiner V) and Prof. Dr. Kamsi, M.A. (Examiner VI). This open defense was opened for students who want to attend it.
After considering the answers of the Assessor Team’s questions and objections, Mochamad Parmudi was graduated and was awarded a Doctor of Political Islam-Political Science with all the rights and obligations attached to the title. Mochamad Parmudi became the 18th doctorate graduated by the Doctoral Program of Political Islam-Political Science, Directorate of Graduate Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
