Zuly Qodir: Diversity Becomes Good Capital for Indonesia's Democratic Growth

Democratic civilization in Indonesia can rely on Muhammadiyah & NU as the most significant Islamic mass organization in Indonesia. There has been considerable progress with Indonesian democracy. Indonesia’s justice will be more quality from year to year with the more substantial role of civil society.
As stated by the Head of Study Program (Head of Study Program) Doctor of Political Islam-Political Science, UMY, Dr. Zuly Qodir, M.Ag in a discussion entitled “Freedom of Religion and Belief Post Constitutional Court Decision No. 97 / PUU / XIV / 2016 “. The debate was held by the Institute for Interfaith Dialogues in Indonesia (Interfidei), Thursday (12/3) at Interfidei Sleman DIY.
The Head of Study Program, who likes playing soccer, said that Indonesia’s diversity is a good capital for the growth of democracy. With variety, it is essential to look after each other, respect, respect, and not force the will in any way, let alone by force. Freedom and recognition are the pillars of democracy.
The discussion that was open to the public, also presented a guest speaker, Prof. Robert W. Hefner, who is a Professor from Boston University, USA.
